Spanish provider of omni-channel gambling products and services Mediatech Solutions announced that it is to partner with payment solutions provider Paymagnet. Under their agreement, the latter will supply the gaming developer with its innovative payment system which makes it possible for credit card payments to be processed directly through smartphone sensors.
The new payment solution will be integrated into Mediatech Solutions’ IRIS platform. The said platform is known for providing gambling operators and their customers with innovative social and real money gaming experience. At first, only European players will be able to take advantage of Paymagnet’s product.
The new solution provides international merchants to accept credit card payments through the use of NFC-enabled smartphones. Once integrated into the IRIS gaming platform, gambling customers will be able to top up via their credit cards and a simple mobile app. Paymagnet’s product supports contactless Visa and MasterCard and does not require the use of a POS system.
Commenting on Mediatech Solutions’ latest strategic agreement, CEO Daniel Graetzer noted that his company has always been taking pride in providing customers with unique omni-channel gaming experience and that any provider that offers solutions for the gambling industry is welcome to partner with the Spanish developer.
Graetzer further noted that Paymagnet’s solution is easy to be integrated and will most definitely bolster his company’s product offering, including more than 1,500 gaming titles and a number of payment solutions providers, and will facilitate gambling operators that have opted for the IRIS gaming platform.
Martin Glettler, Paymagnet Executive Director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, said that his company and its solutions are designed in a manner that helps gambling customers pay effortlessly with their cards. Due to this, the provider’s payment solutions have already proved to be quite popular among gambling customers, operators, and software developers.
Mr. Glettler added that they are extremely happy to be working with Mediatech Solutions as the software provider is one that has been an innovator in the provision of omni-channel gambling products. The official pointed out that he believes this initial agreement will grow into a multi-year “mutually beneficial partnership.”
